Summer Stripes

These shorts are from Zara. I've been wanting to blog about them for a little while but wasn't quite sure about the perfect outfit combination until I saw this blog post here. Charissa teamed a stripy shirt with yellow shorts and I felt so inspired I had to do the same. This is such a lovely outfit for a summers day and I can't wait to wear it on holiday. I love the classic combination of royal blue and stripes, and stripes are one of my top trends this season! The cropped cami is from ASOS and I've teamed the outfit with my Zara mules.

My backpack is another recent find that I'm excited to share. I've wanted a bag to carry my camera around in for a while now and this backpack from Urban Outfitters just screamed out to me. I've never thought of myself as a backpack person (I think they're a bit 90's personally!) but it's just so useful! I take it with me whenever I'm in London for the day and I don't have to worry about people nicking my camera and I always have my hands free so it's perfect for that. It also comes in black if that's more your colour and I definitely recommend it.

I hope you like this look, thanks to Charissa for the style inspo!

We Are Young OOTD

Although this isn't the most summery outfit ever, I do really like it and think it would be cute for a casual night out! I bought this top in the Urban Outfitters sale a few weeks ago so I don't think you can get it any more but there lots of similar crop style tops about at the moment.

I've just bought two new self tanners, one gradual and one instant to review here on my blog. I've tried quite a lot of different fake tans so I thought I'd do a comparison post soon on them all and tell you my thoughts.

My A Level exams are all over in less than a month so hopefully I'll have more time to blog soon! If anyone else is revising/ sitting exams at the moment then good luck :)

And finally, if you like my blog then please click here to nominate my blog in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards under the 'Best New Fashion Blogger' category, I would really appreciate it! You can also nominate me if you click here for the Next Newcomer blog awards as my blog is under a year old :)

New Jumper and Rose Gold Wedges OOTD

Some of you who read my Twitter may know that I went on a little trip to London on Saturday to see the Lion King musical (which was amazing by the way, possibly my favourite musical ever!). During my trip I had a couple of hours to shop in Covent Garden and spent most of that time in Urban Outfitters. I absolutely love that shop. In my opinion it's one of those shops you have to see the clothes in person to want to buy them and when I'm there, I want to buy them all! Luckily I restrained myself and only bought a few things, the first being this jumper. It's from the brand Sparkle and Fade which I have another top by and I love. The jumper is so soft and cosy, and looks really cute over shirts (which is why I bought it!). I can't say it's the most flattering top I own but I really love it. Plus it was in the sale from £42 to £30 which was good!

I paired it with my Topshop Leigh Jeans (surprise, surprise) and a Topshop shirt. On my feet I'm wearing my new Topshop wedges which I can't get enough of! They are rose gold and metallic which a black wedge, and are pretty comfortable. They will look great on holiday or on nights out with dresses, skirts or trousers. As soon as I saw them in the shop I wanted them, and when the sales assistant said they were the last pair in my size I knew it was meant to be!

The cuff I'm wearing is also from Urban Outfitters and bought on my London trip. I've been looking for a nice cuff for a while but nothing really caught my eye until I saw this one. I love crosses so just couldn't resist! It was £14 which I think is quite reasonable considering it feels more expensive and it's very unusual.

Hope every one is having a lovely week so far, I'm off to do some more revision!
